I would think even if one has the proper certified set up they still

wouldn't want to call it a medicine if they are not an MD .. just an herbal

blend salve ....

I would, if there were any herbs in it ;) It is all natural tho. I

actually was trying to sell it as a cosmetic. But even for cosmetics like

lip balm, you have to follow the same procedures according to the

government. The only thing you can sell without going though the government

rigamarole is soap. And you can't even say your soap has healing

properties, or will clear up acne, etc to sell it as " soap " . The main thing

is if someone uses it in the wrong manner, gets hurt and sues you, it's good

to have all the bases covered. Maybe I'm just a little paranoid, but since

my father was a dr, I've seen malpractice suits (he won them, he did nothing

wrong), and I have seen how the lawyers go after every nit picky thing. I

did a lot of research on what I needed to do to mass market this salve.

Someday I may get production going and market it properly, we've talked

about it many times, but right now, I have many more things on my plate. I

will sell it to friends and by word of mouth.

:)

Michele (who is going to go press cider today, yummy!)
