Guest guest
I wish! I'm on my LAPTOP now cause my desktop won't startup in anything but Safe Mode ;( I've been working on it for the last two hours (much to my son's dismay cause he wants to play and mommy is grumbling at the computer screen! and no luck .. I'm using Gateway's Help Spot's Spot Check program now for the 2nd time (it fixed 18 of 21 problems last run through a few minutes ago) but I have a feeling this is gonna take a while, and maybe someone else better at this than me! *WAAAH* Chris http://www.alittleolfactory.com PS and you'd never think the dog ate soap yesterday the way she stinks today ... she is banished from inside the house for the day at least! - " Marilyn Nicholson " <menicholson7 Thursday, September 27, 2001 10:27 AM Re: OT: I Might have Picked Up A Virus > Hey Chris and Butch, > > How about giving it a bar of that soap??? Guest guest
Hey Chris, As careful as you are about attachments .. and with the state-of-the-art virus detection equipment, firewalls, booby traps and land mines you have hooked up to your PC .. what the hell kinda chance does an ol' kuntry boy trying to get along in the big city have? I'm operating with a dinasaur PC, antique programs, a McAfee virus detector that only works Tuesdays and Thursdays if it's not raining, and a server who hates me. Reckon we need to go back to carrier pigeons ... ;-p Recommend you pour some oregano oil onto your keyboard and hard drive - can't think of any thing else better for kicking butt on viruses. Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com > > Don't open my any of my attachments unless I tell you I really sent it ... > *Smile* > Chris > http://www.alittleolfactory.com
