Guest guest
Are you all okay??? I can't get a call into Manhattan to save my life! My I-net is still down (tech coming to fix it at 3PM). I can't send or receive e-mail. I am posting and reading list mail from the site with my back-up dial up connection (which is sketchy at best). I know a lot of people working and living in Manhattan, some of them in downtown, some of them near the Towers ;(saw the one collapse). Guest guest
hello chris. this is frightening. i got to work (at the penn station / madison square garden building). someone mentioned it in the elevator - about seeing the smoke . . . when i got to the 21st floor . . . and watched out the window with co-workers, as one tower after the other, fell into a cloud of smoke. my heart aches for all those people and families .. . . people in my office are teary eyed. currently the building is advising people to stay within - and venture out at your own risk . . . all of ny has been closed. this is too scary. hitting home to close . . . . i am at a lose for words. i am so grateful that my husband was working on the upper west side today. may the goddess surround those in love . . . blessings / andréa > ---------- > Chris > Reply > Tuesday, September 11, 2001 9:22 AM > > My New Yorkers! > > Are you all okay??? Guest guest
Hi All- I am not going to touch on the political aspects of anything that went on today - but wanted to let you know the pain I feel for all that have lost their lives today and their loved ones. I could see the WTC collapse today and stood on the street among others in shock. Than I just could not stop crying - the fear of imagining my friends and past co workers not making it out - my husband being trapped somehow - and about all the other innocent people in the building or below. I still have not heard from many of my friends that worked there or around the WTC. 10,000+ people - firefighters, police officers, mothers, sisters, fathers, brothers, children etc...may have not made it alive today. I can only share my condolences, fears and sympathy with the rest out there. With deepest love and sympathy, Sevi Kay , " Chris " <chrisziggy1@h...> wrote: > Are you all okay???
