When we got someone to come and visit them, the rabbits stayed away!!! Get a cat! Regards Ann - Scotland
Guest guest
Hi Ann! Thanks for the cat info...........but... we've got cats - the problem being is that they don't go outside since here in Florida; not only do we have a huge tick and flea population,... we also have birds big enough to pick up the cats and fly away and eat em! Soooooooo, the cats stay in.........the rabbit eats our hibiscus - the thing ate FIVE plants the night before last............hungry thing, huh? I remember growing up in a small town in Connecticut - my Dad always had a HUGE veggie garden, since there was lots more land than people and he ended up (after fencing in the garden and everything else he could think of.....) planting over TWICE the amount of veggie's we'd eat just so we'd get some of them! <grin> I'm hoping the eaten hibiscus will come back as I don't think the rabbit ate to the roots........just the rest of them!!!!!!!!!!! Course, we've been harvesting the flowers...........oh well, I'll keep looking!!! Thanks for writing!!!!!!
