Guest guest
Hi Lena! I think you have my e-mail addy spelled incorrectly. (you're missing an " n " ) It's mbrantner. You don't owe me anything for the wicks, it's not enough money to bother with. I buy it in 100 yard spools. As for what wick to use when, You use the smaller size for the smaller candles and the rule of thumb is the smallest size is for candles 1-2 " diameter, then increase the wick size for each 2 " in diameter of the candle. The metal core wick is usually for container candles such as candles in jars or votives. The non metal core wick is usually for free standing candles like pillars or tapers. Hope this helps! Oh, and a good web site for candles is www.about.com. Search for candles. The guy there has a good site on how to make candles. Smiles!
