Guest guest
I am going to place the honey order with the one local bee guy real soon. i'm reposting this as a reminder to some and as news to the new folks *smile* chris ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ at a farmers market i did in the mountains yesterday. he has 4 kinds of honey, clover, cats claw (a drak rich and creamy honey), dandelion (a light honey, not so sweet, if you can say that about honey and honeydew (which is another dark and unique tasting honey). it was $4.00 for a 1 lb jar and $7.00 for a 2 lb jar. i got a 1 lb jar each of the cat's claw and honeydew. i never tasted a honey like either of those and i'm one of those honey freaks in the world i can ceratinly pick up a jar from him if anyone wants any. also, he told me i can get the beeswax from him - no matter what quantity for $4.00 a lb - with impurities in it - y'know hive stuff, like bees and comb, etc.... (he told me the removal process), or $5.00 a lb. with the impurities removed. he is local, so i won't have to pay for shipping to me, just shipping to you - YAY!!!! but lois and i still have to talk to another local bee keeper soon (its that time of year) and we'll see what his offerings are. i just wanted to keep y'all posted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ if you want any get your order into the data base. i want to make sure i catch him next time he is around (you know how those mountain folk are *smile* chris
