Guest guest
I was wondering, does anybody knows how do they make those scents like " sea breeze " , " ocean mist " , etc? They really smell like the sea, but I guess they're 100% made of synthetic products, as ther are no sea water essential oils LOL! Related topic, I know there are seaweed extracts and I believe there are seaweed essential oils too. Well, this one will have to be added to my wish list, it's one I'd really looooove to have! Must be $$$$ but that's okay. If anyone finds it, I'd appreciate you tell me! I found a site on the web that claims to sell a seaweed oil, but, of could, I don't know if I can trust it... And Chris, what happened to the database section????? Did you deleted it????? Do you still have a record of our orders and addresses??? See you around, ladies! Guest guest
wow! seaweed oil! i'll keep an eye out for it, in fact i'll ask around i've heard of " salty " smelling oils that may be them.oooh, what about infused seaweed oil? anyone ever tried it? let me get back to you on the sea scent thing. most are synthetic. i know there are some good blends, like the yemaya oil andrea mentioned, but i want to get that " salty " oil smell in there if we can find it oh and andrea, i've never come across a " real " cucumber oil. i want to try drying things like peaches slices and strawberries and maybe even cucumber and squash to use them in incense that calls for that scent and item, but i don't want to use the synthetic version, but it'll never smell like those synthetic oils. ah well, some things nature wants you to savor and apreciate fresh i guess. i was working on the database at the time, i guess that put it down for a while ? i have all the street addys in my box here, and the general addys on the database still as well as the email addresses. *smile* chris > Related topic, I know there are seaweed extracts and I believe there > are seaweed essential oils too. Guest guest
chris, drying sounds like a good alternative to replace the synthetic oils. how about a food dehydrator? would this work better . . . so things don't get the moldies. as for the seaweed oil, there is an oak moss oil (i know its different than seaweed, but an odd oil none the less) - and i really love the smell of it. i know in ireland that they have a few seaweed products . . . soaps and such, there must be an oil somewhere. andréa > ---------- > Ziggy > Reply the_oil_co-op > Monday, September 4, 2000 6:37 PM > the_oil_co-op > [the_oil_co-op] Re: Sea breeze... > > > wow! seaweed oil! i'll keep an eye out for it, in fact i'll ask > around i've heard of " salty " smelling oils that may be them.oooh, > what about infused seaweed oil? anyone ever tried it? > let me get back to you on the sea scent thing. most are synthetic. i > know there are some good blends, like the yemaya oil andrea > mentioned, but i want to get that " salty " oil smell in there if we > can find it > oh and andrea, i've never come across a " real " cucumber oil. i want > to try drying things like peaches slices and strawberries and maybe > even cucumber and squash to use them in incense that calls for that > scent and item, but i don't want to use the synthetic version, but > it'll never smell like those synthetic oils. ah well, some things > nature wants you to savor and apreciate fresh i guess. > i was working on the database at the time, i guess that put it down > for a while ? > i have all the street addys in my box here, and the general addys on > the database still as well as the email addresses. > *smile* > chris > > > > Related topic, I know there are seaweed extracts and I believe > there > > are seaweed essential oils too.
