Guest guest
This is all good news! My biggest interest are oils, oils, oils, cheap oils, expensive oils, but very nice oils! After I smelled that 2 I stopped enjoying the ones I buy here so much, I prefer yours! Some other items, like vanilla beans, sweet almond oil, etc, etc, I can buy cheaper here. The candle stuff and lip balms containers are wanted too! I'd really love to hear from Alaine about that liquid soap recipes... What about that stuff that is always present on the recipes but it's so hard to find in local stores? I mean, like cocoa butter, citric acid... Through each other we could find these items more easily, I guess. I'm not really needing anything in particular right now, but when I remeber something I'll tell ya. Andrea, thanks so much for your will to buy a little less because of me! That is so sweet! For our luck there's no need to do that! But thanks anyway! ))) Hugs, Lena P.S. And Chris, I think you should keep going with the polls. They've been helpful already to decide which sets and oils to order.

Guest guest
After Andrea and Kate spoke out I got a few ideas on which oils would I want. Sandalwood, neroli, peppermint, jasmine, Lime, rosewood, eucalyptus... because rose, sweet orange and niaouli are on the list now! Andrea, could you tell us a little bit about the absolutes you referred? Some of them I never heard of! Like: champaca, linden blossom, mimosa, tuberose absolutes. And what are frangipani, spearmint, spikenard and tagette? I found some pages with bath bombs recipes... but you've probably seen them already! Unfortunately I can't find anything else. Net is my only source of information on this subject. Still, if you want the pages' addys anyway, ask me and I'll tell ya. Hugs! Guest guest
cool, i'll take this and the other lists into conideartion, i have a bunch of ideas now! spearmint is like peppermint, only a sweeter, less camphory smell. i already have eucalyptus you can have - 2 kinds actually, globulus and smithii. yep i still want to dothe rose oil next month, even with my bottle of CO2 coming, they are different. have differnt properties. hydro-steam distillation creates chemical compunds that otherwise don't exist (cineol 1-8 is and example) i'll try to dig up what i can on all this stuff - between the distillation and the compunds, and get some info posted here and ont he aromatherapy board too. also i'll try to address the chemical thing you asked with the lemon tea tree. all good stuff, so little time, as sean whines now *smile* chris the_oil_co-op , " Lena " <black__cat@i...> wrote: > After Andrea and Kate spoke out I got a few ideas on which oils would > I want. > > Sandalwood, neroli, peppermint, jasmine, Lime, rosewood, > eucalyptus... because rose, sweet orange and niaouli are on the list > now! > > Andrea, could you tell us a little bit about the absolutes you > referred? Guest guest
well, having worked at the same shop that chris worked at a few years back . . . and making incense - a few of these oils are part of other blends. i have only seen them as fragrance oils, and have been interested in finding out better quality (although assuredly more expensive), organic or wildcrafted. off the top of my head i can not recall all of the properties; but for instance - mimosa is used for propehtic dreams and psychic development; linden blossom balances the emotions (and smells very sweet); frangipani is used in a lot of love mixtures; champaca, i am guessing is similiar to the hindu incense " champa " but i could be completely wrong! any further comments, chris? i hope this helps a little. i can look these up further if you are interested. and the bath bomb addy would be appreciated! thanks. > ---------- > Lena > Reply the_oil_co-op > Friday, September 1, 2000 9:23 AM > the_oil_co-op > [the_oil_co-op] Re: Everyone's Wish List please..... > > > After Andrea and Kate spoke out I got a few ideas on which oils would > I want. > > Sandalwood, neroli, peppermint, jasmine, Lime, rosewood, > eucalyptus... because rose, sweet orange and niaouli are on the list > now! > > Andrea, could you tell us a little bit about the absolutes you > referred?
