Guest guest
Hi there all, I've had a lot of fun in the couple of days since Chris signed me up for this group. But since Chris is the only person I know (in the cyber sense), I thought I'd introduce myself, and maybe some of you could do the same so I can get to know ya! I'm the 29 year old mother of Adrian. He's a 10 month old bundle of energy. I quit my Chemical Engineering job to be a stay at home mom. I have always had many hobbies (all going at once) and one of them is Candle making. (I'm going to learn to make soaps, and I already knit, sell used children's books on the internet, make recycled computer jewelry, restore old furniture, etc!) I started using essential oils in my candles because they smelled better than the fragrances usually sold for candle making. I am a novice in aromatherapy, and need to learn more about it, but I am finding myself more involved in using the oils for relaxation, cleaning the air, and other uses in my diffuser. I may ask a lot of questions that you all know the answers to, but I've got to start learning some where. Smiles! (If you've read my above novel! LOL!) Guest guest
Hi all, I think the introduce yourself idea is a great one! I'm Kate, I live about 2 1/2 hrs south of Chris, although we have yet to meet - one day soon! I'm 28, a material planner/buyer for a precision machine shop. Single, no pets (I'm working on that one, first buy a house - I can't have them where I currently rent). Total newbie to aromatherpy, but getting more and more into it - I love colors and scents and esp. bottles! My other hobbies include crocheting, reading, writing, beading, and various other craft forms - which while I'm thinking of it, do we have any other beaders here (like we need more bulk ideas - lol). And I'm a computer junkie. I'm getting a kick out of this co-op, I'm learning so much! Thanks to everyone who has been sharing info and ideas. Guest guest
ooh ooh i have a small beading loom :-) yeah like you said - more ideas! *lol* hey the holidays are coming - we can cash in on our creativity! i found out the year round flea market here is only $10.00 for a day on wednesdays and $20.00 on sat and sun. not too bad, especially if you split the space with a friend! and i'm looking at webrings to join and places to advertise on the web for free. michele, where do you sell your stuff now that you're doing the crafty WAHM thing (and anyone else who sells)? and kate, BTW, OT here, i have a friend who HAS to get rid of her kitty because she's moving in with her boyfriend and his dog eats cats. do you want a pet sooner than you planned by any chance? any colorado folks here want a kitty? *smile* chris the_oil_co-op , " Kate " <elementalchick> wrote: > Hi all, > > I think the introduce yourself idea is a great one! Guest guest
Chris, If I could have it here, I would take it in a heart beat, but the management at my apartment won't allow pets of any kind. Thanks for the offer though. Kate
