I just wash the gently and when the soap hardens and cools i can peel the pringles can off then slice. I don't know if it works for candles i would think there too hot. The wax on the paper melts and is VERY difficult to remove. A really good container for candles is.... baby food jars! They are heat treated and show the colors really well.
