Guest guest
yes they can be used to make bath salts, but because they are truly red i would use it as part of my bath salt mixture so as not to make the water look like moses messing with the nile river *lol*. i also think they'll make the most wonderful salt scrubs! so do you think you want one or two? michele is our resident candle making guru! but for years i have been taking hunks of old wax blobs from used candles and remelt them. i really want to get into making beeswax candles. maybe this way we can actually afford use the oils to scent them (although beeswax smells so nice to begin with)! *smile* chris the_oil_co-op , " Sarah Ihle " <ihle@e...> wrote: > Newbyland question, can I use this one to make bath salts? Guest guest
it is somewhere between that size (those are about 1 & 1/2 lb) and the size container you'd get a small order of potato salad in (12 oz fits in that). think of enchantments and all the sea salt we scooped out over the years working there. we sold it in 1/4 lbs minimum there. *smile* chris the_oil_co-op , " Sperle, Andrea " <andrea_sperle@m...> wrote: > chris, about how much volume is 1 pound of salt? > is it equal to one of those sea salt canisters from > a health food store? i forget the brand - its either in > a red or blue cylindar. > > andréa
