Dr. Lo explains how Oriental medicine is based in a

system of relationships among the different parts of

the body. The body is treated as a whole, rather than

as parts isolated from one another. The body is

evaluated as being in harmony or not. Meridians are

the fundamental system of the body, governing the

whole. The network of meridians connects the entirety

of the body, so that a needle inserted at one point

can affect a point distant from the needle.

 

Acupuncture is beneficial in healing a wide array of

diseases, including heart disease, arthritis,

allergies, cancer, diabetes, headache, neck pain,

shoulder pain, low pack pain, obesity and aging.

Acupuncture balances the body by stimulating the

body’s natural functioning and healing processes. This

occurs at all levels, including biological tissues,

t-cells, neuronal firing, organs, endorphins, blood

circulation and body temperature. On the systems

level, acupuncture affects the immune system, nervous

system, gastrointestinal system, urinary system et.

al. It also works on the level of organs, including

the liver, spleen, stomach, lung and heart.

 

While meridians are not visible to us, Dr. Lo’s

research has provided ample evidence that meridians do

exist and are made up of a polarized media, which is

likely to be water clusters. These water clusters

align to form the network of meridians. When the water

clusters fall out of alignment, qi is blocked, and the

body is in pain or becomes sick. Acupuncture,

moxibustion and qigong can align the water clusters.

Once they are aligned, qi flows and the body heals.

Through conscious interaction with the meridian

system, as in the practice of qigong, one can attain

higher levels of energy and vibrant health.

 

The interaction of these oscillations among meridians

explains the relationships among the five elements,

mother-son relations, and other ancient Oriental

acupuncture concepts, in terms of the common language

of quantum theory. These relationships may be tested

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

 

Dr. Shui Yin Lo is a Professor of ,

former Professor and international lecturer in the

areas of acupuncture, theoretical physics, Quantum

Field Theory, Particle Physics, Mathematical Physics,

General Relativity, Electromagnetic Theory, Classical

Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Advanced Quantum Mechanics,

Advanced Electricity and Magnetism, Statistical

Mechanics, and Particle Physics. He has supervised

four Ph.D. and eight Masters Degree students in high

energy physics.

He is the author of more than one hundred

peer-reviewed publications, including four books. He

also has a number of patented inventions, including

medical devices; infrared imaging equipment; a system

for nuclear fusion generation; non-polluting,

combustion-enhancing fuel additives; an emission

control device; a home water distiller, and numerous

other patented inventions in the field of quantum

physics.

Dr. Lo received his Ph.D. in Theoretical Particle

Physics from the University of Chicago, was visiting
