Guest guest
Hi all, I'm seriously considering introducing other non-English speakers into the group. This will probably include Chinese, Korean and Japanese speakers. Of course they will write in their own text, which will be alien to most of us. If your internet browser has Asian language support you'll be able to see the text without it being scrambled. You may if you wish translate it using a software program such as Wenlin or an old fashioned dictionary, or you may wish to just ignore the text. Before I hit the go button, I wanted to hear what people's views are on this idea. Attilio

Guest guest
Hi Atillio! If you want to perform a *real* service, get a program set up on the server to do a real-time translation so everyone can enjoy it. I don't know if such programs are available yet or not, do you? Guest guest
Great idea Pete, but even if I could set up a program doing that, i.e. http://www.babelfish.com/ wouldn't allow me to integrate it into their software. Hopefully, they'll catch on and implement it. Guest guest
I learned while in Korea & China that most of the professionals write & speak English. I corresponde with those that I have met while there, and they prefer to write in English as it gives them practice. My computer supports translation in each of the languages noted. <attiliodalberto wrote:Hi all, I'm seriously considering introducing other non-English speakers into the group.
