Guest guest
A leading TCM consultant at Zhong Ri made a notable comment today on the difference between Liver Qi stagnation and Liver Fire. He stated that Liver Qi stagnation is to do with irritability within the patient's self, whilst Liver Fire is to do with irritability with people around the person affected. I think that Liver Fire can have Liver Qi stagnation aspects, and derives from Liver Qi stagnation, but Liver Qi stagnation cannot include Liver Fire characteristics and cannot derive from Liver Fire. Therefore, irritability comes firstly, internally, then projects outwards secondly. It cannot originate externally. Therefore, if your unhappy with the world around you, you are unhappy with yourself. Find happiness with yourself and you'll be fine with the world around you. What do others think? Guest guest
Excuse my ignorance Emmanuel, but why does everything have to be an oral tradition. Why can't they put it into print and have it seen by more people? Attilio " Emmanuel Segmen " <susegmen@i...> wrote: > Attilio, > > Your comments reflect the teachings of my oral traditions. Guest guest
Pardon me, Attilio, I noted that I have oral traditions training ... not that every thing is or needs to be one. I was happy to confirm your findings by that observation. Many things in print are in fact from oral traditions. Earliest written reports of common lineage practices whether in medicine or in meditative training are exactly what you suggest. They are written down for others to see. However, oral traditions are living things. Written reports are snap shots. So you have to " practice " with a master to enjoy the living part of it. I sense I'm not telling you anything new. You have much wisdom regarding this. In friendship, Emmanuel Segmen Excuse my ignorance Emmanuel, but why does everything have to be an oral tradition. Why can't they put it into print and have it seen by more people? Attilio
