LOTS OF CARROT, APPLE, ORANGE, LETTUCE, JUICES. DURING THE DAY. PREFERABLY LIVE ON JUICES IF POSSIBLE. treatment: this should consist of gentle stimulation with moxibustion of stomach 36,38, kidney 3,7, liver 2,3 8,(13,14 if youa re game with precautions) & spleen 6,9,3 points.moxa will be enjoyed & absorbed a lot. give as much as he can tolerate. do not overdo it. max - 5-10 minutes of moxa. see how he progresses. good luck. more if this is helping. i feel within a couple of weeks of this strict routine pt. will show changes. bye anand > > > > > ===== Anand Bapat Pain Management Specialist Sports Injury Specialist Blacktown, Parramatta, Punchbowl, & Hammondville 0402 472 897 _________ Messenger - Communicate instantly... Guest guest
Anand,Namaste, some very wonderfull suggestions! I have found the water therapy to be extremely helpfull in many toxic and deficient conditions. It could be used as a basic prescription to detoxify the body and to nourish blood and fluids. If i am allowed to add, after the intake of 2 to 6 glasses of water,it is a good idea ,not to eat or drink anything else for an hour or two, just to make sure that the water does its àction uniterrupted.(is it good to have the water sightly warm?) I am very curious to know more about the use of castor oil as a therpeutic procedure.I know that it is a great natural laxative and does a lot of good in dealing with arthritic conditions.I didn`t know about the external use of it.Will be very curious to know more about the general indications and contraindications,if any. Best Regards, Satya Ross,I wish you much luck . whether its constipation or getting sores, dermatitis, etc. some very simple suggestions. 1. i think patient should drink a much water as he can tolerate. preference is to drink at elast 2-6 glases of water first thing in morning even before he brushes his teeth. this will get a royal flush & slowly but surely start the cycle of bowel motion, reduced headache, increase appetite, & some moisturising of the body internally. concurrently he should go on a juice diet. start with carrot juice & drink at least 4-8 glasses/day. this will give him heaps of nutrition & will show what his body level is re: absorption of nutrients. whilw this is going on he should add castor oil to his diet. drink small quantities of casrtor oil 1 table spoon 3-4 times a day with some food item or plain by itself. this will nourish the body from within. it may also start a diorrhoea & frequent bowel motion. if its too much reduce to 1/day. the last thing that should be done is to advise castor oil application all over the body. this will be best done of an evening/night. then go to bed wearing some old clothees so that the bed does not get soiled. in the morning he can have ashower with warm water, preferably no soap. the castor oil does need to be rubbed into the body for about 10-20 gentle strokes. not a massage but application & rubbing to enhance absorption in the skin. within a few days his skin will be soft, his innards will be pliable & he may start eating better. after that PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN THAT HE DOES NOT EAT TOO MUCH.
