Guest guest
Hi Group, Is anyone familiar with a western diagnosis of Benign essential tremor? This guy has a tremor of his left hand. Has been investigated for Parkinsons Disease which was negative. It started approx 1 year ago and is gradually getting worse. He tends to be on the warm side, not noticing the cold. Tongue red tip and peeled,Few horizontal cracks, not deep. Very little else of significance. (For Salvador D.O.B. 1:12:50:-) ) Any thoughts would be appreciated. Regards. Val 5 2 8 HI Val thanks for been so considerate with the DOB He is an easy one, this guy is pure Earth! So The only meridians that need adressing are his SP and ST. The issue now is to decide which is STag and which Def. out of the top of my head without any other info. i'd ask, can you make a case for Def SP and Excess ST? the tremors are more than likely compression somewhere on the upper thoracic or cervical so my guess this is a ST issue. excess ST will disturb BL and GB meridians both of which will affect neck If the SP is Def. it would explain the red tip tongue as a def SP would make too many demands on the HE. Also A def spleen would agitate the LIV. in tcm parlance tremors is wind but in my opinion you can go for symptoms or you can go for root. ill treat root everytime. salvador _______________ It's fast, it's easy and it's free. Val ___________ Giving this a bit more thought If excess SP it could would weaken his KID and LIV leading to symptoms of Blood Xu and Yin Xu as well as Damp. if this is so then the ST is going to be Def. this could also lead to Blood / Yin Xu GB and BL could then get agitated and go to excess. This scenario explains the arising of Wind a bit beter than the last . salvador IF it were me I would ask the patient for symptoms to corroborate which of the 2 scenarios is more likely. sal _______________ Use MSN Messenger to send music and pics to your friends http://www.msn.co.uk/messenger
