Guest guest
I think that observation and collating info is a great approach and resource, However, the nature of human beings makes this a difficult endeavour at the best of times for example lets take 10 people with frozen shoulder. if we look at recommended points. we have ST- 38 as the most salient. do we then use ST-38 on all those people? can we honestly use the results as meaningful? I am aware through observation and experimentation that a frozen shoulder can come from the BL, ST, LU, LI and SI Merdian (it may possibly come from others as well)any of which may be either in a Def.or Stag. state. There is also the issue of going into appropriate points within a given merdian. as well as the fact that if one goes into the wrong meridian one may easiliy compound the stresses within the dysfunctional merdians. Given the above how can one reduce the treatment of an individual to acu. points for any given symptom? And how useful is scientific reductionist observation going to be when similar symptoms have a diferent cause? salvador www.meridian-qi-acupuncture.com
