Zu San Li & amp;nbsp; the needle was manipulated with supplementing technique. The needles are retained for 20-30 minutes and stimulated once at half-time. Treatment is administered daily 1-2 days prior to the intake of the chemotherapeutic drugs and continued until the chemotherapy course is finished. Then only as needed for nausea and vomiting but my pts often desire treatment to help rebalance their whole system and not just control the nausea once they gain trust and knowledge about what we can do. We have to also deal with the spleen Qi Def and the damaged Qi and blood and then work on the other causes as well so adding points as needed. I have also been successful with using SP6, SP 9, St 40 and Ren 3, Lv 3 LI 4 and LI 11 Back Shu of Qi and Blood Liver 2 with PC 6 are good for stasis in the breast area. Some herbs often prescribed include astragalus (Huang Qi), Peony (Bai Shao), and & amp;nbsp; honeysuckle (Jin Yin Hua) which are some leading herbs for tonifying Qi (or energy), & amp;nbsp; nourishing blood and & amp;nbsp; clearing toxic heat, respectively. Phytolacca is a main remedy for the breast. With herbs--I'd throw a big red caution flag up--IF there is an herb that has a deadly or bad chemical interaction with any of the other drugs the doctor might have her on--needs to be checked out FIRST. Try to get an open relationship with the oncologist. When rx properly our herbs are safer than the drugs they are using. But the MD's will probably blame our herbs if anything goes wrong so protect yourself. Often a formula is tailored to the individual case. Vitamins can also help B-1--100 mg/daily B-6--100 mg/daily Vit. C--5,000 mg daily I would also suggest she talk to a homeopath in her area (there's a ton of remedies for the side effects) these won't have any interference with the chemo agents. There are also many remedies that can help the tumors disappear. This will require constitutional care with intercurrent remedies for the symptoms being expressed. There are homotoxicology remedies available but I have very good success with classical homeopathy using one remedy and not combo remedies. One exception to this is lymphomyosot as a lymph drainer (complex remedy) which I regularly use. I never treat cancer I treat the whole person and their tumors just happen to disappear. Look to her emotions and help her there. Many people feel powerless, depressed, angry, in denial etc. and if they don't change their emotional state it can have a major impact on the outcome. I have also witnessed many people who have been declared cancer free who did not make lifestyle changes or work on the core issues of imbalance (usually emotional) which created the cancer to begin with. After enjoying years of remission some have had the tumors reappear. When they go back on the herbs and Acupoints many have gone into remission without the use of chemo or radiation again. The point is cancer is a wake up call and not a death sentence necessarily. It is a chance for someone to look at the areas of their life that are out of balance. Where they are holding negative emotions in their body and who might be tolerating their living conditions and are unconsciously looking for a way out. It is also wise to get the whole family dynamics involved so you can know what you're really dealing with. One patient expressing cancer was in an unhappy 30 year marriage where she felt stifled and oppressed. She was allowed to go to work by herself but all other errands had to have her husband present even the grocery store. She rarely saw friends and had to turn her paycheck over to him without being allowed to know anything about the family finances. She felt anger towards her husband for not speak up and protecting her interests with his mother instead taking his mothers side all the time. & amp;nbsp; There were a lot of other issues going on too. For the homeopaths out there her constitution was Staphysagria. However unless you have provided a safe environment giving an anger suppressed woman Staph can have backlashes like her getting violent with her loved ones not just screaming and yelling. Of course not everyone will get violent but the potential is there so don't give it unless you plan on being a 24 hour support person for a few days or she has a support system in place. I chose not to give her her constitution for 3 months until we had everything in place. I opened the case miasmatically and used Chinese herbs and ointments for the first 2 months and then switched to homeopathy drainers and remedies and acupuncture exclusively. The tumors had been reducing in size but within a few weeks were completely gone after the Staph was given. Her miasm was Sycotic so I used those remedies. She also became a vegan (No dairy, meat or animal products though every few months she did eat Salmon. She joined women's groups and after some heart to hearts with her family she now has a loving and strong marriage again without being smothered. By involving the whole family I answered all of their questions alleviated their fears and picked up her husband and son as patients. Hope this helps, Sunny
