I have a new friend whose wife has been mentally ill for years. I have not

met her, and I will not treat her, but I wish I could find someone to

recommend, no matter where on the planet. Her husband is one of the bravest

man I know, with a great courageous generous heart. His relatives are in

Thailand and hers are dead, so he has taken care of the children and led his

company for many years now.

She currently takes neuroleptica (Haldol) and she wants to quit with it. Her

doctor thinks she should take this the rest of her life.

The worst passage in the familys life was 1993 when her 3rd child had been

born. The baby was 3 month old, with a brother 18 months and a sister 6

years, when his mother was so mentally disturbed ( " spinning in her head " )

that she had to go to hospital and stay there for 7 years.

(To tight between births, post birth fastigue exhaustion... Surely Heart

Xue xu and Pi xu and more...) But she had some depression problems earlier

in her life to.

What she and her husband wonder is if there is a clinique with someone with

experience in this field where she could go and stay until she is detoxified

and stable.

Hi Holger,

I am truly sorry to read of such distress. I dont' know of any clinic

with such speciality. However, I'd like to share for the group at large how

A person that is labelled 'mentally ill' is just another way of saying. This

person has such intense, internal emotional pain, that he /she can't bear

to feel it.
