RE: Substitutes for animal-derived products in herbal remedies?

Bear Gall comes under the heading of animal-derived ingredients,

and will be covered, I hope.

 

It seems that ox bile (and pig bile), which are easily collected in

abattoirs, have similar actions as bear bile. Any dissenters on that?

 

Re endangered plants, would someone else on the List run with

that? I have a lot on my plate and must pass on that one.
