Guest guest
Hi All, & Hi Holmes, > Metal LU is deficient and LI in excess. In theory, because LU and LI belong to the same Phase (Metal), this is a simple imbalance to correct! Just needle LU07 (the Luo- Passage Point of LU), using Bu (reinforcing) manipulation. This will Tonify LU by draining the Excess (Shi) from LI (the Pair- Mate of LU). > I heard somewhere that one does not tone Metal, even when > deficient. Holmes I have not heard that. However, I did read that one should not Tonify HT Channel directly. I have ignored that advice and often use HT09 (wood Point), the Tonification (Mother) Point of HT, if I feel that I need to increase Qi in HT Channel. Any comments? Guest guest
I guess what I might say is pretty basic stuff. The use of Lou-connecting and Yuan- source points is indicated for inbalances of channels within the same element. I have learnt of it a while ago and think it is of an older use, and not too modern. < wrote: However, I did read that one should not Tonify HT Channel directly.
