Guest guest
This is a re-post with slight modifications that didn't get through yesterday. E.S. Hi Attilio, I was not coming to Ken's aid, nor would I even try. Ken loves wining and losing equally well, and I did not find Lon's comments as much directed to Ken as they were to me ... thus my reply. When writing to Lon, I hadn't yet read Ken's reply to Lon, nor your reply to Ken. I was as surprised as you were. I was genuinely trying to get Lon in the mood to practice what I was practicing. My comments to him were not intended to be taunting but rather encouraging. (Lon, don't be daunted.) I saw it as a theater exercise. I'm a former actor with various acting groups and find it useful to exercise in these ways. Thus, my communication was directly to Lon and also to encourage others on list to exercise in the manner in which I was writing. I feel people in our industry need to get used to speaking to "lay" people as well as on an official level to politicians and Western scientists. That's a fairly big exercise for me as an anatomy/physiology college instructor. I bring ideas from CM into my classroom quite regularly. I also invite people like Nam Singh to speak in my class as a public forum. Thanks, Attilio, for allowing me to clear this up. I more than agree with you and Fernando when it comes to refereeing discussion. I prefer when people speak their hearts and minds directly and let it stand on its own. I'm leaving here the thread intact for reference. My hope is that Ken, Lon, Bob, Chris, Fernando and others pick up the thread and proceed with CM. I also remain encouraged that people knowledgeable of CM can communicate in the present moment with each new arising culture and scientific modality ... even directly with those in positions of political and economic administration. He's a big man, he can fight his own battles. Lon has a right to say what he feels without it being thrown back at him and taunted.Attilio"Emmanuel Segmen" <susegmen@i...> wrote:> So Lon,> > You say you will do it ... describe Qi to a congressman. I think Ken is asking us to proceed .... as if he were a congressman considering including CM in his national health bill. You say you can do it. You say you will do it. So, Brother, go for it! We'll be cheering you on from the sidelines. We won't think you're pompous or any other nasty epithet. We'll just cheer for you as you take your best shot. This is a bit of taiji we can practice on the Internet. So ... let's practice. > > Emmanuel Segmen
