They just don't have licenses that can be taken away. If they think they can do so, they can be your ally in changing the law. Remember that you can suggest, and that is not to prescribe. After a few years of suggesting without any problems brought to your board or the medical board by consumers, you can ask for the right to prescribe herbs and supplements, having shown responsibility. Of course, you must also get to know your state rep and senator on a personal basis, attending receptions they may be giving. As for Durbin, work as hard as you can in every way you can to make sure he is a one term senator! It will show future clones of Kennedy that they cannot mess with DSHEA. That is politics.
