Richard,

No problem, people here have already called me Goat. I am also calling them

tiger, ox, rat . Why, it is way to promote harmony culture.

i understand that to give up dr title was not good thing. I have fought for

Dr for chinese medicine since I started chinese medicine since 8 years ago.

you can see my company name:Dr & HERBs is the protecting way. After I took this,

many people have followed us. In the UK, many chinese medicine clinics took the

same idea, such as DrChina,DrBejing,Dr & Nature ... And they are now all

becoming the big clinical chains in the hight street and shopping mall. Is that

eveidence that we should fight for? No, I do not think so. Look, a British GP,

his name Dr. Shiperman(?) killed his 215 patient and he said he was curing his

patients. Now he has sucided in presion two weeks ago and... What is

different, calling him Mr. Shiperman or Dr. Shiperman if he is a murder. Vice

versa, if my patients treat me as healer, i do not care what they call. Is that

harmony?

In order not to lead people think we are conventional medicine, it might be

good idea not to use Dr and give new name. No we are using CMC: chinese

medicine consultant to replace cmd.

Thanks

All of this is very nice but 'consultant' means to the public much-less than

the generally accepted meaning of 'doctor/physician'.

Look-up the dictionary definitions of 'doctor' and 'physician' and realize

that allopaths do NOT own any property rights to those title designations. Plus

realize the definition found therein which just might astonish some.

Nothing should be confusing to the public regarding the usage of say OMD or

CMD. Some practitioners when asked by new patients if they are an

MD.....generally respond with a resounding NO......with an explanation that it

is the

farthest thing from their mind/intent.

CMDs should not have to bow to the suppressive desires of the allopathic

narrow paradigm just because there might be some practitioners who would abuse

the

title thereby causing some public to be confused. And why would any

practitioner want to confuse the public into believing they are MDs? Too many

patients

coming to see CMDs are running away from the MDs due to the failures of their

suppressive medicine.

It is no different than in Rhode Island, USA....where MDs who claim to

administer acupuncture MUST tell their patients how little education they have

(300

hrs) compared to the standards of well trained acupuncturists (several

thousand hours).

The same logic can be applied. CMD (Chinese Medical Doctors) or OMD (Oriental

Medical Doctors) should (and most of us do) advise their patients of our

education compared to the MDs and that we are NOT allopathic medical doctors.

Another option is that ALL MDs/DOs should call themselves 'orthodox

allopathic suppression consultants' and OMD/CMDs should call themselves

'traditional

oriental wholistic consultants'.

Then we will have a level playing field and harmony.
