I know there are quite some experienced practitioners on this discussion group, and I hope that there is at least one who might have treated someone who is on dialysis. If you have, I would love to hear about it. Hi, Acupuncture can strengthen a person and certainly reduce the side effects of dialysis and help the person keep strong. I have not used it enough to know exactly whether it will make a cutting edge difference but Oriental Medicine is about treating the person and not the disorder. I think the length of time the person is on dialysis, their age and the reason they got to that situation would help. Tongue and pulse and medical history might help us give you more information.
