It treats nerve damage. Maybe someone can suggest a homeopath for this lady. I have also had success in generally inflamation with the use of skullcap but have never treated this which seems pretty far along. I have used acupuncture to slow down ALS but I don't know if at this point it will help her. I am not writing directly but would like some feedback from the group first. Just another thought. In this case because it came on from a reaction to an antibiotic there may be other pathology that needs to be looked at. This is a layered case that I can see and the totality of her symptoms personality, mental and emotional state should be considered. Constitutional care should help her a great deal. Hypericum could be a first choice and it will probably clear a layer but it must be observed and followed with constitutional care when the pathology is this deep and long standing. Otherwise you may palliate a symptom but not create a lasting cure. Sunny

Bobbi Hypericum (homeopathic) is used for neuralgias and other nerve pains. However, IF the patient's reaction really is a form of antibiotic intolerance or sensitivity, I would try ISOPATHY, using the offending antibiotic in a dilution of C6 or higher (1/10* minus 12). I would try 1 teaspoonful of that dilution every 10 minutes for 1 hour and see what happens. Guest guest
Sounds like she needs something to lift the effect of the antibiotic out of her system before anything can help so homoeopathy would appear to be something to be seriously considered as first base. Other reasons for that kind of nerve pain is nerve root compression. If she is clear about the toxic effect of the anti-biotic tho then as above. Otherwise I'd be suggesting further investigation:- MRI scans etc just in case there is nerve root compression of some sort. If that's there is can render other anti-inflammatory efforts up against it. They'd have more chance if that's lifted.
