Guest guest
How to " release " Cold which invaded early Dec, and attacked LI, K (because K qi was weak)? Now after days of being stable, the man is OK when he wakes, but in specific times suddenly becomes Cold, with cold hands and feet, and begins to palpitate, and the BP rises erratically. On Dec 7 Cold invaded, some release was applied with acupuncture, on Tai Yang, and later Yang Ming. It seemed the Cold had settled down. A week or so later it surfaced, and presented itself like this: Dec 7 - in K time at 5 PM, settled by 6, stable by 7 PM. Dec 8 - more of same in low key, this time K toning and Moxa were instituted and the episode leveled in 30 mts. Dec 9 to almost 22, nothing remarkable, he seemed to have healed. Dec 28 [yesterday] suddenly a relapse happened in SP, began at 9 and leveled out at 10:30 or so. Today, SP time was OK, he entered HT time at 11, was being goven a toning at HT 8 horary point for Fire. At 11:40 he nearly fainted, pulse became very erratic, settled down at about 12:30. Referred him to another acupuncturist, just to get 2nd opinion, He was told that " Cold has invaded, Cold and Hot are fighting, injuring the Heart. Heart is fighting off Cold by acceleration. " He gave a prescription of: SP 3 or 4? P 6, SI 3, LV 3, LI 4, LI 11, all bilateral, no manipulation. Followed by back points for a hurting Thoracic 5 or 6 vertebra. 25 mts each side of heat lamp. Also some herb, but not strong, that had to be made and will be available on Sat. He said the condition may still persist, and sure enough it came exactly at 5 PM; in addition to the attack at 11:40. He also said the general qi in the man was fine, problem was the Cold and Hot battling, trapped inside. P 6, SP 4, SP 3, SI 3 were given, and the condition did not deteriorate, and settled by 6:30 PM. Is this a Cold still within the system? Is this a K-HT Weak, or at least imbalanced. Can someone help?
