That way, none has to remember anything and the list stays clear of these posts. It should be an easy request. Lots of ways to get to the end. This will avoid group posting triggering their autoreply system. If they did this then would not get that silly autoresponse to the group which has no meaningful thread in it whatsoever: > I will be out of the office until January 21, 2004. I will not have access to ... blah blah .. who cares ? We can now expect this silly message repeated to each and every one of us until one of the Moderators puts the offender on NOMAIL. Your own personal email settings may have that function.
