Guest guest
[From my writings] The ancient thinkers cast the 5 Elements in to four seasons, twelve Watches of the day and night and so on. People and animals and plant life live by this Code. What if one can extend this into socio-political application, and read the elemental qualities into historical happenings? Undeniably, some nations and peoples are towards Yin Water, cool, withdrawn, not quick to anger, deep and almost unknown; some Fire yang, warlike, in perpetual war, leaning to fire and mayhem; some are Earth stable, cool, centered, peacemakers, rarely invoking war; some loquacious in Wood, always in rage, given to argument and vituperation and treaties and law; and some given to tragedy, perennial Metal grief, pathos, graves and epithet. As often one sees liaisons, treaties and pacts, and one may see elemental character, same, or opposed. [to be continued] Dr. Holmes Keikobad MB BS DPH Ret.
