Guest guest
As we lay just before dawn, with the big low moon to the northwest partially hidden by slow moving thin strips of clouds, making the snow below shine in a really lovely quiet way, it seemed anyone could easily see how strikingly beautifully interwoven earth and sky, Nature and people are. As there was ever only one long day among the stars, and its here now. I said, " I wish I could say things in a way that was less inflammatory and more kind and encouraging to people, as you do often. " My concubine replied, " Why? The sugar just rolls right off your tongue. " Ooo, ha ho, funny and witty. I was referring to my as usual, rough and harsh comments on the inefficacy of many modern pharmacueticals in particular, and the over- selling and over-pricing of the monopoly of the modern for-profit health care model. If acupuncturists and other CAM practitioners had the lethality, side effects and other poor performances of the allopathic machinery, we would be rounded up and burnt at the stake, or run out of town on a rail. But see, here I go again, my blood is up, I'm on my high horse, and ignoring the fact that everywhere, health care workers wish deep in their hearts for success in every person who comes to them for help. I over-stress about only being able to provide a little relief, and if there is no improvement, I try to refuse compensation. You do your best. We pace and ponder, review, rethink; appearance, methodology, insight, history, related cases and studies, asking for help, check my own mind or energy, everything, to get a handle on the problem. To help, regardless of what modality or discipline achieves it. But I can't beat myself up too much sometimes because in the mix, everyone's responsible somewhat for the common sense activities that enable good health for themselves and the world-system, altho increasingly, many are real victims or casualties. Moderation, a free and relaxed attitude toward others, a sense that a sustainable world is achievable and worthwhile, love for and from other people and animals, a non-toxic environment, enough basic quality food air and drink, interaction and body movement or manipulation. Every once in a while waking up and just humming or dancing a few steps or just feeling good and happy to be alive. That for a moment, life isn't hellish. The universe is on your side. As they say, dancing at the feet of my Lord. So I hurt by ranting to innocent gentle people about truly damaging trends of the world; dehumanization, centralization, pollution, mechanation, verticalization, manipulation, multinational misinformation. I'm sorry we're in a mass extinction and probably begginning a demographic winter, but we are seeing the effects in the clinic. We can use chelation, or smilax(tu fu ling tang) to detoxify heavy metal poisoning and dredge the meridians- clear wind heat damp bi with bld stag., or keep the poison out of the environment as much as possible in the first place. I forget the source, but this may apply to both economic and social engineering theories: " Human's thinking, their abstractions and logical inferences of sciences, could prove that not only is the moon made of green cheese, but that astronauts need to carry crackers. Truth or non-truth doesn't matter. They are reduced to premises, beautifully fantastic fantasies built of symbolic languages. " Truth or non-truth doesn't matter...2+2=5...the customer is always right. Peace, respectfully submitted, fran

Guest guest
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..(for some, we'll see). The right pace is maybe not fast enough. But it is true isn't it, so much experience and knowledge is at our use, like never before. Wonderful. salvador_march <salvador_march wrote: Salvador responds:.....Shee....and here I was thinking that everything was right with the world, that we are evolving at just the right pace for collective experience to transform into understanding. :)salvador Membership requires that you do not post any commerical, swear, religious, spam messages, flame another member or swear.
