Guest guest
Dear Misha, I find it both a pleasure and an honor to be present in this forum with you. I saw you sitting in the Paul Unschuld workshop on the weekend afternoons at the Pacific Symposium in San Diego. I feel I'm at a birthday party when I get to ask questions directly to Paul Unschuld, and now you are here with us. So I hope you will forgive my boldness if I were to ask you how you enjoyed Paul's presentation and what you took from it. Paul spoke on the topic of the "bifurcation of the Han in CM" wherein Taoists were oriented to a medicine of herbs, nutrition, qigong and the like. Confucianists represented the opposing pole and were into using acupuncture as their therapy of choice. I wasn't clear if each camp employed similar diagnostic methods and only differed in their treatment modalities. Or if they also had quite different approaches to diagnosis. Do you have any insights or even just random thoughts on the topic? In respectful gratitude for your consideration of this, Emmanuel Segmen - Misha Cohen Chinese Medicine Saturday, November 22, 2003 11:41 AM Introduction from Misha Cohen Hi. This is Misha Cohen. Guest guest
Shalom Misha Would you consider posting summaries of your research to the List. They would make very useful starting points for discussion. Best regards, Phil > Hi. This is Misha Cohen.
