Interestingly, there are a growing number of citations to TCM works on prostate issues. I have not yet found a clear distinction made between BPH and PC. Because TCM (as opposed to CM) has borrowed concepts about the prostate from WM, there seems to be a fair bit of confusion about treatment. I'd be interested to know of any distinctions made in the ancients texts. [ FYI BPH = benign prostatic hyperplasy. This is the cause of swollen prostate and urinary problems. PC = prostate cancer. This may not have distinct symptoms before the disease manifests as bone cancer.] Sammy.
