Marco, What I've been asking my self, am I questing to be a mechanic fixing a broken machine or is my goal actually to become simply a shaman presenting a liaison between the realities. My practice is in Asian bodywork therapy. Dramatic as it has been at times, by a favorite teacher's insight that I try not to loose track of, in the tradition of ABT I practice we do nothing more than to bring the energetic body into the physical world so the client can recognise and heal/balance her/himself. Honestly, I find comfort in that I can't just learn all this from a book (though I admit, sometimes I'm frustrated enough to try. I imagine we all appear to insulate our houses with floor to ceiling bookcases.) ,that I not only need to step within community but I also need to be ready for what I learn.
