Hi:

 

I've encountered Diabetes Type I and Type II in clinic; Are there

Type III, IV, V, VI,..., Infinity out there?

 

Anyone interested in conducting a clinical research study or know of

some practitioners out there studying the pathogenesis of wasting and

thirsting diseases of the present day?

I believe there is only type I and type II diabetes. Type I is

insulin dependent (IDDM) and type II is noninsulin dependent (NIDDM).

Type 1 is due to autoimmune etiology, insulin dependent without insulin resistance. Type 2 DM is due to insulin resistance and can be either non-insulin dependent (early stage) or insulin dependent (late stage) <attiliodalberto wrote:
