Guest guest
Dear Holger, The main thing is Blood Stagnation. He will defintely benefit greatly from treating that and the injuries will heal dramatically faster if you give him a formula to invigorate Blood such as Die Da Wan. Needleswise I would be looking at Xue Hai and Ge Shu as base +- .... though needles anywhere are going to invigorate Blood + Qi in any case. Treating this now will virtually eliminate any sequellae of the fall. He has good karma to have you as a fatehr! Robert Cran. Guest guest
Holger, Having a 14 year old myself I understand your deep concern. I'd say get him a skull x-ray just to make sure there is not a hairline fracture. If there is hidden damage you can at least take extra special precautions against him banging his head again. Take care, Sammy. Robert A D Cran [chinherb] 18 October 2003 06:29 Chinese Medicine RE: FW: [pa-l] FW: minutes ago - my sons memory loss Dear Holger, The main thing is Blood Stagnation. Guest guest
Thanks Robert for the advice on Blood stagnation. An advice I will follow.. partly I think that thats handled with Arnica. but I will treat him anyway. Both points are easily located on the microsystem on the hand... I bow deeply for your compliment on my sons karma. : -) Holger
Guest guest
Hi Holger, I entirely agree with you that Arnica is highly appropriate here. I think you would find that something like the formula I mentioned would give a more complete effect, as I think you were suggesting yourself. Big smile back at you :~) Robert. Guest guest
Hi, I appreciate the homeopathic expertise that is available here. About the scalp acup. and laser, often waiting just a day is better(depending on type and severity of trauma) than waiting a week, because the qi/blood etc, is in a very stormy state. But the activation of those pts helps balance out and enable things to get back to normal, rather than stay in a traumatized condition. This is the logic behind bleeding the jing well pts for trauma unconciousness, as the qi is blocked and you would want the flow to normalize. Sensory lines would be a starting place(if needed). Also as you said the hit was near or at Du26, surrounding pts are also useful, as are distal. Herbally, 'Die Da Qi Li San' and " Yunan BaiYao', may be indicated. Elegant, useful customizations of those classic formulas, and other modern ones, are worth checking out at EastTao.Com , by Dr Kezhuang Zhao. all the best, peace, fran Robert A D Cran <chinherb wrote: Hi Holger, I entirely agree with you that Arnica is highly appropriate here.
