Guest guest Posted October 7, 2003 Report Share Posted October 7, 2003 Hi all. I've got a patient who has Xiao Ke/diabetes but i'm not sure if its upper, middle or lower Xiao Ke. Can anyone have a look at the case history below and provide some advice. DOB 27/02/31 Male. Major complaint: Diabetes for over 10 years. Prostate problem for 8-9 years, occurred with a prostate infection. Angina. Stomach ulcer for 20-25 years. Present history: Thirst none, no dry mouth, or throat. Good appetite, can eat anything. Wakes once a night to urinate, can be quite a light colour. Feels hot at night. Normal stools but can be a little dry and hard. Sleep is ok. Shortness of breathe on exertion (angina).
