Guest guest
Dear Attilio and group, Sorry for delay in reply and in posting a message. I have being looking in from time to time. My interest in TCM is based in veterinary practice. I have being using Chinese herbs to complement my acupuncture cases mainly equine but some small animal cases. This I have being doing for the past six to seven years. Many conditions such as EIPH, Azoturia, COPD , I will use herbs alone in the treatment. I set up a website www.animalherbcompany.com in partnership with a TCM herbalist in 2000. This is a direct market place for nutritional supplements to the public. Please have a look at our site and you will get a picture of where Im at. We supply to some vets also but this is not exclusive. Many vets do not have much faith or belief in herbs or acupuncture. This is changing slowly. I am a conventional vet first, then alternative. This in my opinion is very important as it is so easy to be knocked when you miss the obvious western diagnosis. I am currently studying for a certificate in vet acupuncture in the UK and intend pursuing a certificate in veterinary herbalism in Belgium over the next two years. I hope to be able to make a more meaningful contribution to your list in the future. Initially I was overwhelmed by the no of emails in my inbox from your TCM group and it was difficult to find what was good for me. Now I read the messages online from the group page. It is the herbalist in our company that has the TCM herbal knowledge base as only now I am getting a training in it. I basically treated my conditions with herbs as I would with any medicine and have built up a knowledge of what works and what doesnt. Hoping to join in more in the future. Best wishes, Anthony Coyne MVB MRCVS. Ireland.
