Guest guest
Hi to everyone, I've been receiving the postings for some months now and feel it is time I introduced myself. But I want to start off by congratulating Attilio on hosting such an active discussion group. I studied at CTA in Leamington (JR Worsley - 5-Element Acupuncture) 1993-1996 and more recently with Niki Bilton. I feel a bit of a dwarf among giants here, hence the lurking. It is only in the last year or two that I feel I have had the time and energy to begin to deepen my understanding of acupuncture (am just reading the Robert Felt/Stephen Birch book) and go back to the Classics, so forgive me if I continue to just lurk. Ken, I loved the piece you just wrote about Qi and in particular the questions you raise in the clinic in order to assess where a person's qi is at. Would you mind if I copied it and sent it to some colleagues? Full accreditation of course. I'm not sure what the politics are of things which are posted on a discussion group. Are they in the public domain or should we seek permission before passing stuff on? Thought I'd play safe and ask. Annie Hibbert
Guest guest
Annie, Glad that the bit about qi works for you. And thanks for your thoughtfulness with respect to the reproduction of my post to distribute to your friends and colleagues. I can't provide you with a definitive answer to your question about the protocol and practice with respect to copyright and listserv postings, but I can certainly grant you permission to copy that post and use it in the way that you mention. I don't know if that right is legally mine, but since you were kind enough to ask, I can repay your kindness and say ok. Where are you?
