I have long felt that both more clinical should be emphsized and tha an

internship is needed. I have always gotten a few students at our local TCM

school to sit ckinic during their free time and act as amentor for one or two

out of each class.

I then invite one or two recent grads to come into my practice and help build a

practice and skill levels.

i would have thought that the student should be well

prepared to face the world with knowledge & skills to

practise the day he/she step out of the school after

graduation.

if this is not the case what is the idea os schools.

my understanding of aprofessional course is such high

levels of standards & tough exams that clinical

practise becomes abreeze.

i wonder what others think & college staff have to

say.
