Guest guest
Hi Matt try the state of Florida, I believe we are titled as primary care physicians if so desired.. Hope it helps, Lady Melody matt bauer [acu.guy] Wednesday, September 10, 2003 4:55 PM Chinese Medicine Primary Care - Richard? I hope some in the group may be able to help me, perhaps Richard knows about this. I am trying to research if any state uses the term " Primary Care " in the language that defines the scope of licensed/certified/diplomats Acupuncturists. In California, our legislation (the Acupuncture Act) describes the intent to regulate acupuncturists as " a primary health care profession. " Acupuncturists are also listed in our Workers Compensation codes as " Primary Care Physicians. " Anybody out there know of any written language in acupuncture legislation or regulation that uses any phrases with " Primary Care " spelled out? Thanks - Matt Bauer
