Guest guest
This is the Chinese Medicinelist please stay on topic. Use a line that explains the message or it won’t reach the people you intend it to. Do not expect everyone to read every message. If you answer or comment on a message use the reply function and keep the same line. If you are changing the subject or going off on a tangent change the subject line. Do not resend the entire previous message; just quote the stuff you're commenting on and put your contribution _under_ it. If you answer more than one question, put a single answer under each question. If something is interesting to only one person, or is a question only one person can answer, send it directly to that person's address rather than the list. If their answer is of interest to many, you can ask them to reply on the list. Use plain text because downloading attachments costs more (if you are using a Cafe Computer) and not everyone can read them. Understand that this is email; Sometimes it is easy to misinterpret someone's intentions when you cannot see, hear, or smell them. If you send the same message to many addresses at the same time, always put private addresses in the " BCC: " field so the addressees won't end up on unwanted lists. kchamill <kchamill wrote:To all members of the list, PLEASE EDIT/DELETE out the extraneous, previous posts <Snip> True security nust be rooted in true and complete social, economic and environmental justice for everyone everywhere with no exceptions. Please lets take some time to edit the subject line and body text. Otherwise, it takes ages to read it (i check my emails via my mobile phone and my thumbs gets very tired scrolling through chunks of mail which shouldn't be there), and people cannot easily search for previous messages in the archives.
