Hello, Attilio and TCM list

 

I am Janet Knowlton, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.),

graduated

from

Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada in

1979.

I live just outside of Almonte, Ontario, near Ottawa, Canada. I

have

practised for some years in a conventional small animal veterinary

hospital and emergency clinic in Ottawa.

 

In 1994 I opened my own Holistic Veterinary Medicine and Acupuncture

small

animal practice from my home in the country. In 1995-96, I took the

International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) Course in

Houston

Texas, and am certified by IVAS in veterinary acupuncture. In

2002-2003 I

took the IVAS Traditional Chinese Herbal Veterinary Medicine Course

in

San

Diego, CA and have my cerfificate in TCHVM.

 

I am a member of the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, American

Holistic

Veterinary Medical Association, International Veterinary Acupuncture

Association, Association of Veterinary Acupuncturists of Canada,

Veterinary

Botanical Medicine Association.

 

I would like to continue learning Traditional Chinese medicine, and

how

others understand and use TCM, energy and holisim. And hopefully I

will

have some of my own energy, spirit and love to contribute to the

list.
