Lon: The relative influence of genes and environment for any specific trait

exist on a continuum. A person with a high genetic load toward lung cancer

might manifest thhat illness regardless of ever being exposed to an

environmental

trigger. A person with genetic lungs of steel might live to a 105 even if they

smoked 3 packs a day for 60 years. From a CM point of view this person's life

would still have been of a better *quality* if they hadn't smoked.

From a materialist point of view genetics is physical transmission from

ancestory. However from a CM poiint of view there is also nonphysical

transmittance (karma).

I think that from a CM point of view, genetics relate to your

constitution. A person may smoke a great deal but never develop lung

cancer because their lungs are strong from birth. Another person may

just be a passive smoker and yet will develop lung cancer because

they have a poor lung constitution. Therefore, our constitution along

with our belief system, karmic laws and of course our environmental

and lifestyle all unite together to determine out state of health.
