Guest guest
Lon: The relative influence of genes and environment for any specific trait exist on a continuum. A person with a high genetic load toward lung cancer might manifest thhat illness regardless of ever being exposed to an environmental trigger. A person with genetic lungs of steel might live to a 105 even if they smoked 3 packs a day for 60 years. From a CM point of view this person's life would still have been of a better *quality* if they hadn't smoked. From a materialist point of view genetics is physical transmission from ancestory. However from a CM poiint of view there is also nonphysical transmittance (karma).

A person may smoke a great deal but never develop lung cancer because their lungs are strong from birth. Another person may just be a passive smoker and yet will develop lung cancer because they have a poor lung constitution. Therefore, our constitution along with our belief system, karmic laws and of course our environmental and lifestyle all unite together to determine out state of health. Attilio P.S.
