The Acupuncture Alliance and AAOM are working to develop a formal Code of Ethics for Acupuncturists and professional associations can also produce public statements condemning those few bad apples our profession has (as with all other walks of life). We don't have to see ourselves as "morality police", but some simple formal statements regarding professional ethics does help. Alon I understand your feelings completely. There are many things I see other acupuncturists doing that cause me concern for the future reputation of our medicine.
