However, I am having a hard time finding any other reference to this

point under the name Tim Mee. Is it called something else as well?

When I was in school the chinese teachers called it the honey point. And used

for the same thing, stop smoking.

Thanks for the info

I have read the article in acupuncture.com and its very good.

However, I am having a hard time finding any other reference to this

point under the name Tim Mee. Is it called something else as well?

I have been using this point in my stop smoking protocol along with

auricular points and solution focused counseling and have been

getting great results. I just wanted to see if there was any other

info available on this point other than the one article.

Do you mind sharing your auricular protocol for smoking cessation? I've had

lots of inquiries re: smoking cessation and haven't found a method I'm real

confident with.

Thanks,

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

There is a very good article on stop smoking located

at " http://www.acupuncture.com/Acup/Smoke.htm " which

mentions the Tim Mee extra point and describes exactly

where it is located.

I also also suggest you look under

" www.tcmstudent.com " and select the auricular chart

and look for a point about 2/3 of the way down on the

left side called the " nicotine " point. This point is

also used in conjunction with stop smoking.

Hopefully, it can be of help to you.

Hi. Following Huang Li Chun's auriculotherapy school, u must select MOUTH,

LUNG, SHEN MEN and SYMPATHETIC.

Use both ears.

Press each point nine times before smoking. After 3 days, remove all

seeds, wait 24 hs and put them again.

Usually, the patient reduces 50% the amount of cigarrets per week. After

quit, continue with auriculotherapy for at least 2 more weeks.

For further information about this method, see

http://www.auriculotherapy

or
