First, my name is M C Markman. My friends call me

Moe. I do Tui Na Massage and I am currently studying

the various Asian modalities (which I am sure I only

have found a mere fraction of) as well as the American

Trigger point equivalents to try and see overall

patterns and connections.

I am a logical person, but I also know that logic

can lead to mental traps if you do not have all the

information nessecary to move forward.

When doing Tui Na you apply pressure along the

Meridians and the point fades, your realse, go to the

next point.

I have noticed however that if you apply pressure

to the next point along the channel the qi would know

where it is suppose to go and fade quicker.

(though sometimes I have noticed what I call " dancing

points. Where the qi will try to dance back along the

channel or refer pain else where, sometimes to another

part of the body entirely. Example, had a point refer

from knee to low back opposite side of body. Which on

some level makes sense because of how injuries will

bounce up the body).

I am still learning the diagnostics of Tui Na,

but I am curious why chinese medicine just doesn't do

an overall clearing of the points so that qi is always

flowing smoothly everywhere?

Often times if I find an injury along kidney I

will clear stomach and liver and spleen first because

it will clear the way.... sometimes this clears it

without anything further.

I have had many positive results in my work with

Tui Na, and I hope to get to talk with you more.

Thanks,

M C Markman
