NIH funded study and pilot study being held in NYC.

Hello everybody, I am sending out this post in hopes

that it may help some of your HIV+ patients living in

NYC. There is a study going on that is funded by the

NIH and being held at Columbia University School of

Nursing, in NYC. The study is a controlled clinical

trial that is testing Acupuncture +/or Moxibustion to

reduce the frequency of diarrhea in HIV+ individuals.

I, myself am a licensed acupuncturist and chinese

herbalist (NCCAOM) working as a research study

facilitator on this grant. If you know of anybody who

can benifit from these free treatments (there is also

compensation) please spread the news to those who can

benifit.

 

There is also a pilot study being held for patient who

experience IBS. The only criteria is that they have

been diagnosed by a western doctor as having " IBS " and

that they must be between the ages of 18 and 70.
