I am not a doctor but

for edema:

try soaking your ankles in salt water....maybe one quarter cup salt in one

gallon of water.

this will actually draw the excess fluids out of your body and possibly

toxins too.

Also you might be eating too much salt. ALL processed foods have too much

salt in them. A product called " realsalt " has additional minerals in it...if

you must have salt.

Also drink at least a gallon of water a day and no soda pop.

food allergies:

I have been told that food allergies can be caused by parasites in the

body...caused by something as simple as licking your fingers.

Try eating pumpkin seeds (pepitas). they are very yummy toasted...possibly

they can help get rid of parasites (if you have them).

anhydrosis:

MS Bookshelf says:

Without water, especially water of crystallization.

drink water, water, water. water is actually a mild dieuretic.

I am a newbie with chinese medicine...I am here to learn, but also to share

what I have heard.

For readers who haven't tried them, roasted pumpkin seeds are very

tasty. When readers in countries that celebrate Halloween carve the

Halloween jack o' lantern, you might want to save the seeds, wash

them, and roast them. Salt lightly if you don't have a problem with

salt.

One other function that this list serves is that from time to time we

post info on herbs that are not a part of the TCM materia medica but

should be looked at and analyzed from a TCM standpoint. Pumpkin

seeds is an example.
