Hi, I am a newly graduated L.Ac and was wondering if anyone can comment on

they're malpractice insurance. So far it's a toss b/t Acupuncture Alliance and

Acupuncture Council. I reside in NY- Thanks

Hello,

 

Your problem is just a case of which works best for you and your situation, but

being in New York is tough make sure it details everything you might have happen

to you because you don't want to get caught on the outside of your insurance. I

know the results if you do, I almost had it happen to me. So pick wisely.

This is good advice, though it would be nice if we can list some items

that " may happen " . Here are a few off the top of my head:

 

trip and fall in your office (this would call for " premises liability " )

herbal medicines (is it in your scope of practice?)

herbal medicines via website (this may call for " product liability) "

moxa: (any restrictions to type used?)

cupping, bleeding, any issues there?

massage? Massage therapists in your office?

 

Any requirement for an arbitration agreement to be signed?
