I am trying to figure out the yin yang balance of the 6 pairs

of meridians.

Is the Yang Ming smaller then the Shao Yang?

For example the: Shao Yin(Small) Heart and the Tai Yang(Big) Small

intestine even out but what about this pair:?

Jue Yin for ex.(Liver) and

the Shao Yang (Gallblader)are they both " medium " even though Shao means

" small " ?

Is the Yang Ming (for ex:LI.) " Small " or " Medium " in

comparison with the Tai yin (for ex:L.) " Big " ?

It probably seems very basic to most of you but

each book seam to differ and i have tried all afternoon to understand

the concept!

Thanks' for all your help?

Any suggestion on a good database (CD or

Webpage)that could help me on my study of basic T.C.M.?

Thank' a bunch and have a great day.

Shao=liittle

Tai=big

Yang Ming=even bigger, to the point of becoming Yin. (i.e. the heat of

the afternoon is Yang Ming, but it becomes the cool of the evening.)

Same thing with Jue Yin, its the most yin you can have, and its so much

it becomes dawn.
